Joss Stone: Music should be shared - and artist have to make money with live shows

There is an interesting interview with the lovely Joss Stone on torrentfreak. She points out that sharing music among friends is a great idea and in reality music is already free. As this may sound a little bit naive considering that also artists need money to survive she adds that artists have to focus on other sources of an income including live shows and merchandising.

Mini - Seedcamp Berlin: A great experience!

The Mini Seedcamp in Berlin was just amazing! We received a lot of feedback from the Mentors and VCs (Eden, earlybird, Index, ...) and it was great to meet other startups from Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. What I really liked was how the day was organized by Saul Klein, Reshma Sohoni, Steph Zari and Oliver Beste. In the beginning each startup had 3 minutes to present the idea, in the afternoon the VCs and mentors coached the startups individually and asked them the unpopular questions about their idea, vision and business model. A great test drive for all wannabes.

Afterwards Hannes and I had some fun watching soccer: CZ vs Turkey

One thing is clear: We will apply for the "REAL" Seedcamp in London for sure!

Browser recommendation: Firefox 3 rocks

tunesBag is using a lot of JavaScript, AJAX and such stuff and therefore the performance of the browser handling these technologies is very important. Of course we try to be compatible with every major browser and version as we do not want you to force to use a certain product to enjoy tunesBag.
Today is the Firefox 3 Download Day, however and we break this rule by recommending this new release to you - switch or upgrade now to enjoy the best experience in browsing websites and online services!

"Seedcamp is where Europe's top young founders can come together in one place." This is the claim of Seedcamp, an initiative lead by a group of well known persons from Venture firms, former startups or Top 500 companies.

tunesBag now fully supports Unicode (= all character set)

One of our users (thanks to jonnysun) reported a bug about problems with chinese characters - we fixed this one about 5 minutes ago (was a wrong database connection setting on our production engines). Our service is now fully compatible with all known character sets - see the screenshot below:
