Uploader for Mac OS X released - Download now

With the support of Christopher (@catlan) we've just released the first version of our native uploader for Mac OS X! Using this tool you can drag from iTunes and the Finder to the list of tracks to upload. The upload can run in the background without any interaction.

Playlist Artwork: Millions of free images at your service

We don't just listen to music, we're open to visual impressions as well at the same time and I guess everyone knows the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words". Therefore we've enhanced the feature of adding images to playlists - you're (still) able to upload your own pictures and search for free images in the Flickr catalog!
Flickr is one of the largest photo sites on the net and a lot of people publish their images under the Creative Commons licence (which makes this feature possible).

How to search for a playlist image in the catalog
Click on the edit button (wrench) of the playlist to edit - in this case the name of the playlist is "Good Morning" and I would like to add a picture of some coffee beans or a cup of coffee.

Now click on "Browse/Search free images"

Enter a term, location, city name ... we'll search the Flickr catalog for you! If you like an image, just click on it to set it as new playlist artwork!

In our case, we've a playlist called Good Morning and as I said before, an image of a cup of coffee or something like that might fit! So we enter "Coffee" and receive quite a few results ...

I choose coffee love as artwork image and now the playlist looks way better than with the default image!

Meeting Ferry Corsten & Betsie Larkin in Ljubljana (Dec 09)

During the Christmas holidays and after the launch of tunesBag I spent a night in Ljubljana where a gig of Ferry Corsten and NYC-based Betsie Larkin took place. I guess some of you might know the phenomenal DJ from the Netherlands and we really had a great time!

Remove prefilled items from your library with a single click

Several users have requested a simple way to remove the pre-added tracks of your personal library - we just added a hint and link in the library view which enables you to do that (see the screenshot below). Of course, this action will not clean tracks you've uploaded yourself from the library.
